Protecting our guests and colleagues.

Dear Hospitality Industry Colleagues

Multiple sources have guided us to make contact with hotels, motels and related lodging facilities around specific communities; for the purpose of introducing a recently established communications network (currently thru mass emails*) for all hospitality industry businesses to report detrimental incidents and/or conditions affecting normal commercial management.

A few examples of undesirable situations affecting lodging properties within a particular hospitality neighborhood may include:

  • DISORDERLY CONDUCT

  • INDECENT EXPOSURE

  • DOMESTIC DISPUTE

  • INTOXICATION

  • POTENTIAL DAY RAPE

  • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

  • HUMAN TRAFFICKING

  • DEPRESSION (suicide)

  • DEFRAUDING AN INNKEEPER

  • FRAUDULENT CREDIT CARD TRANSACTION ATTEMPTS

  • PEDOPHILES (dance groups, youth gatherings, etc.)

  • POLITICAL DISPUTES (potential attraction for extensive participation = group conflicts)

  • CYBER SECURITY (spammers/hackers)

Today's socio-political and economic unpredictable dynamics, entangled with the welcoming nature of our industry, creates a challenging scenario. From our enduring desires to generate revenue, which we all so diligently pursue within the structural confines and boundaries of corporate America; sometimes we tend to relax and relegate obligations and responsibilities connected to "REVENUE PROTECTION". That's where security diligence becomes useful, with SAFETY as the "SPEAR-HEAD" of all interactions.

Considering the foregoing, it is imperative that everyone working in the hospitality industry should contemplate the monumental and convenient advantage that a coalition of visionaries from THE ENTIRE lodging commerce, irrespective of corporate brand loyalties, could bring about to our vibrant environment.

To that end, we would like to invite management and associates from your “hotel/motel/lodging venue” to join our communications network at your earliest convenience. Your assistance and enduring support will be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards and best wishes,

SAFETY & SECURITY ALLIANCE for the HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY
