Clarification
In the hospitality industry, "SAFETY AND SECURITY ALLIANCE" is most commonly associated with the "SAFE STAY" initiative launched by the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA), which focuses on enhanced cleaning practices, social distancing protocols and overall safety measures for both guests and employees; particularly in response to situations like the COVID-19 pandemic.
The "SAFETY and SECURITY ALLIANCE for the HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY" (SSAHI) has no connections with hygienic rituals. SSAHI's objectives merge (directly) with coordination efforts, by law enforcement agencies, to provide safe and secure environments from malignant actors and/or circumstances.
Although "OIA Alert" geographical specificity is self-explanatory, SSAHI provides a comprehensive flexibility approach to any zone in need of proper identification within a particular communications network worldwide. ID examples may include:
"I-Drive Alert" = International Drive – Orlando, Florida
"COMO Alert" = Lake Como, Milan, Italy
"Tahoe Alert" = Lake Tohoe – California, Nevada
"Bang Alert" = Bangkok, Thailand
"JFK Alert" = JFK International Airport
"Tampa Alert" = Tampa Bay and vicinity
"LAX Alert" = Los Angeles International Airport
"Daytona Alert" = Daytona Beach and vicinity
"MIA Alert" = Miami Beach, International Airport and vicinity
etc....
Apart from internal communication systems protocols, SSAHI is committed to offer corresponding updates to its membership on any technological advancements (within the security industry) to enhance the abilities of assigned hospitality workforces by adapting such advancements to their existing (or new) equipment and/or implementing their subsequent responsibilities. This will allow all local networks to apply any modernized configurations within their individual communication structures.
